Glasgow

Saturday 26 - Sunday 27 January. Mountain biking, North Wales.

Saturday 23 - Sunday 24 February. Mountain biking, Lake District.

Saturday 22 - Monday 24 March. Trip to Venezuela (now fully booked)

Saturday 19 - Sunday 20 April. Gower Peninsular, South Wales. Joint event with Southern Climbers.

Friday 2 - Monday 5 May. May Day weekend. Glen Brittle, Skye. Walking, scrambling and climbing in The Cuillins. Joint event with Scottish Climbing and Mountaineering Group and Southern Climbers.

Saturday 24 - Monday 26 May. Bank holiday weekend. Tremadoc, North Wales

Saturday 14 - Sunday 15 June. Duddon Valley, Lake District.

Saturday 12 - Sunday 13 July. Hen Cloud and the Roaches.

Saturday 16 - Sunday 17 August. Rylstone and Brimham Rocks.

Saturday 13 - Sunday 14 September. Derbyshire limestone.

Saturday 27 - Sunday 28 September. Yorkshire limestone.

Saturday 18 - Sunday 19 October. Date and location to be confirmed nearer the time.

Saturday 8 - Sunday 9 November. Day visits to wall in Leeds or Sheffield
and planning meet in Leeds.

Groups meet weekly on Tuesday evenings at Leeds Wall and/or The Foundry, The Edge, and Climbing Works in Sheffield in the winter and at Yorkshire and Derbyshire crags in the summer. Check with co-ordinator for the time and venue(s) a day or two beforehand.

Meet weekday evenings for indoor climbing with regular weekends away.

Friday 1 - Sunday 2 March (8-9 if weather is bad). Swanage. Sport.

Friday 21 - Monday 24 March (Easter). Pembroke. (for those with experience). Trad

Saturday 5 - Sunday 6 April. Peak District. (Beginners). Trad

Two day Mountain & Outdoor Emergency First Aid Course, Woodhead Mountain Rescue

Saturday 19 - Sunday 20 April.
Gower (suitable for all). Joint with Northern Climbers.

Friday 2 - Monday 5 May
(May Day). Glen Brittle, Skye. Walking, scrambling and climbing in The Cuillins.

Saturday 3 - Monday 5 May
(May Day). Cornwall (suitable for all). Alternative for those not wanting to go to Skye.

Portland

Saturday 24 - Monday 26 May (Whitsun). 1 North Wales Trad/multi-pitch. Moelwyns/Tremadoc?

Saturday 24 - Monday 26 May (Whitsun). Intro to leading course Plas y Brenin (possibility of meeting up for Monday)

Saturday 7 - Sunday 8 June
. Roaches (suitable for all, including new leaders)

Friday 20 - Monday 23 June. Lakes (Cumbria). (Multi-pitch). Ideally four day, minimum three.

Saturday 5 - Sunday 6 July. Wye Valley. Not suitable for beginners

Saturday 19 - Tuesday 22 July.
North Wales. Multi pitch possibly staying at Llyn Gwynant campsite at Nantgwynant.

Saturday 2 - Sunday 10 Aug. Iceland. Glacier travel/midnight-sun climbing/mountaineering/hot springs.

August tbc. Alps. To be discussed – range of possibilities could include trad, sport and Alpine routes.

Saturday 9 - Sunday 10 August
. Cornwall. An alternative to Iceland/Alps

Friday 23 - Monday 25 August (Bank holiday). Yorkshire Grit. May be worth taking extra day off to make 4 days.

Saturday 6 - Sunday 7 September. Dartmoor

Saturday 20 - Sunday 21 September. North Wales. Trad suitable for all; (staying at LMC hut in Nant Peris).

Saturday 4 - Sunday 5 October. Cheddar Gorge. First weekend all gorge is open for climbing.

Saturday 11 October - Sunday 19 October (alternative date week commencing 15 November).
Abroad – South of France tbc; (alternatives destinations include Corsica, Mallorca …). France better in October than November. Ideas are Les Calanques (sport climbing limestone “fjords” near Marseille) or gite in the Ariege in the Pyrenees, sport, trad and bouldering. Or sport climbing in Burgundy

Saturday 1 - Sunday 2 November or possibly 15-16. Swanage or Portland. Planning meet. Sport – suitable for all; (poss stay Swanage YHA or Portland BO)
