Sunday 27 January. 8 mile circular walk following the canals, through the woods and along the river valleys around north Milton Keynes. Meet at Bradwell Abbey car park (off Alston Drive, from Stacey Bushes roundabout on H3 Monks Way, close to the A422 exit from the A5). Bring packed lunch.

Sunday 24 February. 11 Km circular walk Great Linford-Linford Lakes-Linford Wood-Grand Union canal. Meet at the Stonepit Field car park, near the Black Horse pub, on Wolverton Road between New Bradwell and Great Linford (northern edge of Milton Keynes. Bring packed lunch.

Sunday 30 March. 14½ Km figure-of-eight walk from Charwelton to Woodford Halse and to Hellidon, including Catesby railway tunnel : (each loop is 7-8 Km, and you can do just the first loop). Park where you can in the village and meet at The Fox And Hounds pub, Charwelton, on the A361, 5 miles south-west of Daventry. Bring packed lunch.

Saturday 26 April. 13 Km circular walk starting from Aston Clinton (off the A41, between Aylesbury and Tring). Grand Union Canal - Wendover Woods - Icknield way - Dancersend. Meet at the free car park on the B489 (Stablebridge Road), just south of the Grand Union Canal, between Aston Clinton and the B4009. Bring packed lunch.

Sunday 25 May. 11 Km circular walk starting from St John's Church, Wicken. Wicken is just off the A422, 4 Km south-west of the A5/A508/A422 interchange, one village beyond Deanshanger. Park where you can in the village (please park considerately). Bring packed lunch.

Sunday 22 June. 13 Km circular walk along the Great Ouse and Grand Union Canal starting from Wolverton (on the northern edge of Milton Keynes). Meet at the free public car park on the Wolverton - Haversham road, near the railway viaduct. Bring a packed lunch.

Saturday 5 July. Stone and the River Thame. 6 Km circular walk starting from Stone. Meet in lay-by near Stone Village Hall. Stone is on the A418, 4 Km south west of Aylesbury. Drink and/or pub meal at the Wagon and Horses after the walk.

Sunday 27 July. 18 Km circular walk starting from Salcey Forest, past Salcey Green to Stoke Goldington, and returning via Stokepark Wood and Jarvis's Wood. Meet at the main Salcey Forest car park, which is off the road between Quinton and Hanslope, about 10 Km south east of Northampton, just over the M1 from Hartwell. There is a £2 car parking charge. Bring packed lunch.

Sunday 24 August. Picnic at West Wycombe, which is just north of the A40, 5 Km north-west of High Wycombe. Meet at the car park near St Lawrence church, on West Wycombe Hill. Bring food to share for picnic lunch. Possible trip around West Wycombe Park (house and/or grounds) after lunch. Admission prices £6 (house & grounds) £3 (grounds only) or free for National Trust members.

Sunday 28 September. A walk around country lanes, fields, and canal tow paths near the scene of the Great Train Robbery. Meet at the Hare and Hounds pub car park, Ledburn. Ledburn is 3 Km south of Leighton Buzzard and 2 Km east of Wing. Bring packed lunch

Sunday 26 October. "Candleford Green to Lark Rise". 12 Km circular walk from Fringford (the original of Candleford in Flora Thompson's book) to Juniper Hill (Lark Rise), Cottisford (Fordlow) and back to Fringford. Meet at Fringford Village Hall - we have permission to use their car park. It is free but "we never say no to contributions". Fringford is 1 Km north of the A4421, between Buckingham and Bicester. Bring packed lunch

Sunday 23 November. 9.5 Km circular walk from Bromham to Stagsden via Hanger Wood, and returning via White's Wood. Meet at Bromham Mill car park, just off the A428, 3 Km north-west of Bedford. Bring packed lunch.

Sunday 28 December. 10 Km circular walk from North Crawley to Little Crawley, returning via Dollars Grove. Park where you can in the village, and meet outside St. Firmins church. North Crawley is 3Km east of the A509/A422 roundabout, near J14 of the M1. Bring packed lunch.
